We've Teamed Up With Warby Parker! Introducing Their Spectrum Sun Collection

We were honored when Warby Parker asked us to help introduce their new Spectrum Sun Collection. After having the awesome privilege to view the collection of 9 sunglasses before their launch, we were asked to highlight some of our favorite looks. Dusk & Rubies was up for the challenge, and we say challenge because we coveted every single pair! It was hard to choose a favorite! With colors that reminded us of iced coffees, sunshine, and D.C's cherry blossoms and retro frames that channel the likes of James Dean and Audrey Hepburn, this collection came out just in time to enhance our warmer weather wardrobe!

Blush is one of this season's hottest colors easily, but not the easiest of colors to pull off. Well, Warby Parker has made it as easy for all of us with their new HALL frames in Cherry Blossom. How cute would these sunnies look paired with this outfit?

DOWNING Striped Sassafras

These DOWNING Striped Sassafras are one of my favorites. I love the shape, the tortoise shell frames, and the tinted lenses. These sunglasses just exude James Dean's easy breezy cool. I mean only he could look cool doing menial things like drinking coffee.

Now every girl needs a pair of over-sized frames. Whether it be to hide a night out that lasted too long from your boss,  to partake in a dubious stake out with your crazy best friend outside her ex-boyfriend's house (which we don't recommend but hey, it happens), or to channel your inner Audrey, the MINNIE in Striped Sassafras are the perfect pair. 

PIPER Revolver Black

The PIPER in Revolver Black are at the top of my list of favorites for this collection. They are the perfect way to add a little edge to my outfit. Sometimes I want people to think I'm tough- I'm not, but I love pairing a frilly dress/something feminine with something that yells 'I'm not exactly what you think' like my Dad's old biker jacket or my black Sam Edelman moto boots. If you want to have an air of mystery, or you want the world to wonder what it is about you that they can't quite put a finger on then you need to own this pair!
